Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Strategic Account Manager will beresponsible for developing heavy duty national parts programs for the largest fleetsin the nation. To include For-Hire, Private, Refuse, Construction, Intermodal,and Transit segments. This is achieved by developing relationships with fleetmaintenance and procurement teams at the Director and VP level. This position will be based out of the west coast region.

PRIMARYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•     Develop new national account programs.

•     Maintain and grow new business withexisting relationships.

•     Work with the field team on pull through ofnational programs.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Five + years in the heavy duty parts market calling on national fleets.
  • Broad knowledge of primary manufacturers in the heavy duty market.
  • Experience calling on Director and VP level.

SKILLS& ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products; Advanced Excel skills
  • Working Knowledge with CRT Software, Lotus Notes, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 75%+ travel
