Job Description

SUMMARY: 
This Store Manager position for TruckPro will be responsible for managing the overall daily operations of the store with the prime purpose of increasing sales, gross margin, and overall profitability. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Increase store sales by developing and recommending marketing strategies
Remain current in knowledge of all product lines while maintaining and excellent vendor relationships
Recommend, hire, train, schedule, evaluate and direct all store personnel
Administer financial matters including collection and disbursement of funds, payroll, etc.
Ensure customers are provided service through adequate coverage of counter sales staff including, at times, oneself
Communicate directly with customers and national fleet accounts
Direct inside and outside sales staff while building and maintaining key customer relationships
Prepare various reports for Regional Managers
Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained
Conduct physical inventories

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Coach and mentor employees for professional development
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Coordinate vendor training and support with customer base
Follow-up on routine maintenance of company fleet
Perform other tasks as assigned by management

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field is preferred

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one to two years of related work experience is preferred

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Intermediate mathematical skills; the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportion, percentages, and volume. 
Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and write general business correspondence, reports, regulations and instructions. 
Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
