Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Associate for TruckPro, LLC. isresponsible for having ownership of small to medium sized customers in assignedstore territories with the goal to drive sales growth into these accounts byfurther qualifying the account and uncovering product expansionopportunities.  In addition, theassociate is responsible for new customer identification, qualification, andmanaging the account if it falls within the small/medium potential profile.

 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectivelymanage the assigned account base
  • Research andqualify the account to uncover additional sales opportunities across ourproduct portfolio
  • Execute the salesstrategy by proactively calling on the decision maker to influence salesactivity
  • Identify andqualify new business development opportunities across assigned geographies
  • Effectivelypartner with Store Managers, Account Managers, Inside Counter team, and/orStrategic Account Managers to ensure follow up with new sales opportunities aswell as support needed with assigned accounts
  • Identify andcontact procurement, fleet, and or parts managers to uncover key informationthat would include: decision makers, size and scope of potential salesopportunities, current suppliers, future plans, and set the appointment toengage the local store team on the opportunity
  • Identify Productgaps
  • Other duties asassigned

NON-ESSENTIALDUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Answerphone within 3 rings
  • Greetand assist customers upon inbound call
  • Informmanager and/or Store manager concerning customer problems or complaints
  • Offerrelated items for job completion and know and promote all product lines

 EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidates musthave a minimum of three years’ experience with phone based marketing orbusiness to business inside sales
  • Prospecting newbusiness
  • High volume ofoutbound calls
  • Background andknowledge of heavy duty trucking, automotive, or industrial products preferred
