Job Description

SUMMARY: 
The Driveline position for Six States Distributors, a TruckPro, LLC. business, will be responsible for mainly rebuilding drive lines and grinding flywheels. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble and Disassemble drive lines; wash parts; inspect parts; and discard all damaged parts
Take micrometer measurement of flywheels; set grinder and regrind flywheel to specifications. Re-measure as required
Prepare list of required replacement parts on work order
Pull new parts from inventory
Paint and label parts
Reassemble, time and balance if required
Tag units as required
Place units in inventory or for customer pick up as required

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Clean and safe work area and submit work order for invoicing

EDUCATION:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required

EXPERIENCE:
One year or less related work experience is preferred

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Mechanical ability
Ability to weld
Ability to operate air or hydraulic jack, press, hoist, forklift, hand tools, impact wrench, grinder, etc
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds

The work is active. Typically the associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50 lbs. The associate will also have to do the following throughout the day: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing.
