Job Description

SUMMARY: 
The Account Manager position for TruckPro, LLC. will be responsible for building, establishing, and maintaining customer relationships to grow sales and gross profit margin and overall profitability. The Account Manager will be held accountable for effective and efficient utilization of time, equipment, materials or personnel of a small group. The Account Manager will hold the responsibility of development, control or release of financial or other information which may significantly impact the organization, customers, employees or other external elements of the community. This position must exercise constant care to enable proper interpretation of research or manufacturing results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain sales orders from customers and determine customer’s requirements for merchandise and advertise any current sales
Maintain contact with established accounts and inform of new products and services
Maintain strategic accounts on local level as required
Establish new accounts and help direct route sales within a specific territory
Assist with the set-up of merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers
Inform management of any service complaints.  Assist customers in resolutions

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Coordinate vendor training and support with customer base
Responsible for knowing all product lines
Routine maintenance of company truck
Maintain valid driver’s license
Perform other tasks as assigned by management

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have a minimum of three to four years of related work experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables
